Terms of Use (EULA)

Effective date: 12 October 2026 · Developer: MVIRAI · Contact: contact@mvirai.com

By downloading or using Notyva you agree to these terms. If you got Notyva from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ, Apple’s terms apply to the extent required.

1. Licence

MVIRAI grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Notyva on devices you own or control. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer (except where the law allows), or misuse the app.

2. Plans

Notyva is free with ads. Premium and Pro are optional auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock the features listed on the in-app plans screen at the time of purchase. Pro includes everything in Premium.

3. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

4. Free trials and offers

5. Your content

You own what you create in Notyva. It is stored on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for keeping backups. You are also responsible for having the right to use any document you open, read aloud or import.

6. Alarms and reminders

Notyva makes every effort to deliver alarms and reminders on time. However, operating-system settings, battery optimisation, silent modes, device restarts or other apps can delay or block them. Do not rely on Notyva alone for safety-critical, medical or legally required timing.

7. Reading aloud, voice and text recognition

Speech, voices, reading styles and text recognition use your device’s built-in technology. Accuracy and voice quality depend on your device and its installed language packs.

Human voices are a Pro feature. They require a one-time download (about 200 MB) and read English text; other languages use your phone’s voices. Synthesised speech may occasionally mispronounce names or unusual words. On phones that cannot generate speech fast enough, Notyva uses the phone’s voice instead. If your Pro plan ends, the downloaded files stay on your device until you remove them, and reading uses the phone’s voices. The voice model (Kokoro), pronunciation data (misaki) and letter-to-sound models are third-party open-source works under the Apache License 2.0, and ONNX Runtime is under the MIT License; their notices are in the app under Settings → Open-source licences. These licences do not restrict your use of Notyva.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use Notyva to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or interfere with the app or its advertising.

9. Changes and availability

We may update Notyva and these terms. Features of a paid plan will not be removed during a period you have already paid for. If these terms change materially, we will tell you in the app.

10. Disclaimer and liability

Notyva is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, MVIRAI is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Notyva in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
